My wonderful parents are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary today – yes you read that correctly – 60 years of wedded bliss.
I remember my Dad giving me some sage advice on my wedding day which was, ‘Marriage is all about give and take; and you should always give more than you take.’
I guess if my parents used that advice during their long and happy marriage it must be right.
Of course the occasion couldn’t go by without a home made card from yours truly…
The Queen will also be sending them an Anniversary card (She sends them out to all couples celebrating their 60th – well if you request one she does 🙂 )
