Snowdrops in May

It all started last week with a jokey comment while I was flicking through a magazine I’d been lent.

‘I’ll expect to see those paper snowdrops made by next week’ says my pal, and, do you know, I couldn’t resist having a go at making a couple during the week.

They’re made from florists wire, florists tape and crepe paper, a bit sticky and fiddly and definitely not what I’d normally make but hey it’s good to step outside your usual skill set every once in a while isn’t it?

I decided I’d try to ‘encourage’ my pal to make one too this week when she came to our Thursday sewing group, in fact we all had a go and this is what we made

Now I’m wondering if these could be made from fabric? Something else to try this week!

Until next time,
